Billing process and customer service for time-dependent tariffs
With the introduction of a time-dependent tariff for small consumers, the way in which system costs are charged is changing. This is a major change in the energy sector. That is why we want to prepare you now for the upcoming release. This first information session will focus on the development of the topic document. The session is relevant for suppliers and distribution system operators (DSOs), but others are of course also very welcome to attend.
The first information session will take place on 8 September, and we will be organising a follow-up session on 3 November.

January release 2027
The scope of the January release 2027 includes two topics that will be implemented independently of one another. Topic TS088 focuses on improving data quality and is mandatory for suppliers and DSOs. Topic TS094 provides insight into the distinction between AMI and AZI (consumption with or without production) in SMA (smart meter allocation) allocation volumes. This topic is mandatory for DSOs, but optional for balancing responsible parties (BRPs). In addition, the transition period for topic TS073A ends on 1 January, affecting DSOs and metering responsible parties.

May release 2027
The May release 2027 is a major release comprising seven topics. Four of these topics relate to metering processes for large electricity connections, whilst the other three topics cover a variety of areas. The impact of this release therefore affects various market roles.

Transition from OSP mandates to Data sharing
With the introduction of the Energy Act, the way in which organisations retrieve energy data from small connections – with the consent of data rights holders – is changing. The current process, based on OSP mandates, is therefore being phased out and replaced by Data sharing via Het Normo. This will affect, amongst others, other service providers (OSPs), suppliers and DSOs in their role as register administrators. This first information session will cover the transition schedule, the data products that will become available and the changes to the assurance process for OSPs.

How does signing up work?
You can sign up separately for each information session. Above, you will find links for each session with further information and options to sign up. Contact persons known to us who hold market roles within the scope of a release will automatically receive an invitation to information sessions.
What happens after signing up?
Have you signed up for one or more information sessions? If so, you will receive an email for each session at a later date, inviting you to take part in the online session (via Microsoft Teams).
