Second Data Products Consultation: report and roadmap now available

The second Data Products Consultation (DPO) took place on 13 May 2026. During this consultation, Het Normo and the parties involved discussed the current current situation regarding data products, new requests and the progress of the roadmap. With this news item, we are making the report, the presentation and the updated roadmap available.

Key points of attention

Timely registration of service providers

Service providers are strongly urged to initiate registration on the EDX platform in good time via eHerkenning level 3. In practice, this sometimes requires additional processing time within organisations. Timely registration helps to prevent delays.

Information page for service providers now live

A new information page has been made available on our website for service providers, featuring guides and process descriptions, amongst other things.

New applications for data products

The application process for new data products is now live. During the meeting, an update was provided on the applications that are currently being processed or are still under review.

Het Normo emphasises that new data products are developed on the basis of specific requests from the market. Parties with a need for energy data are therefore encouraged to actively submit a request.

Roadmap available

The updated roadmap for data products provides insight into the planning and progress of the various projects. The roadmap remains a dynamic working document that is updated based on new insights.
