With the introduction of the Energy Act, the way in which organisations retrieve energy data from small connections – with the consent of data rights holders – is changing. The current process based on OSP mandates is therefore being phased out and replaced by Data sharing via Het Normo. This will affect, amongst others, other service providers (OSPs), suppliers and distribution system operators in their role as register administrators.
If you are a service provider and wish to continue using energy data with the consent of data rights holders, you must switch from OSP mandates to ‘Data sharing’ in good time. To support you through this transition, we are organising various information sessions, amongst other things.
Further information (in Dutch) can be found on the page about the transition from OSP mandates to ‘Data sharing’ on the Energiedatawijzer.
Programme
The first information session will cover the planning of the transition, the data products that will become available, and the changes to the assurance process for OSPs. The aim is to provide a broad foundation for the transition from OSP mandates to Data sharing. The programme is broadly as follows:
- Opening
- Reasons for and explanation of the transition
- Scope and timetable of the transition
- Registration as a service provider on the EDX platform
- Data products
- Development by the DSOs as register administrators
- Changes to the assurance process
- Explanation of Het Normo’s Market Desk
You will, of course, have ample opportunity to ask the speakers questions. We will compile these questions into a Q&A, which we will publish at a later date on the Energiedatawijzer.
